24 hour rowing challenge

Starts 5pm on Thursday
Rowing is one of the most physically demanding activities you can do – involving every muscle in the body, it’s a test of fitness and mental strength.

This is why we have chosen it to kick off our 12 months of charity for 2019. On January 17th at 5pm at the Pensionlite offices we’ll be rowing continuously for 24 hours finishing up Friday 18th January. We have 3 rowing machines 2 of which have been kindly donated by the folks at Wrekin College.

Bake off

After the success of our 24 hour rowing challenge, we are taking a slightly more relaxed approach for our event in February. The Pensionlite bake off will see the office filled with an array of sugary delights showcasing the best that our advisers turned bakers, have to offer.

The event will be judged with a Pensionlite baker of the year and runner up announced. We’ll then enjoy a tea and coffee morning where people can sample all the entries.

Running 23miler / Shrewsbury 10km

With the warmer weather on the horizon it’s time to dust off the running shoes and stretch our legs a bit. March is running month, and there is a couple of challenges which the Pensionlite team will be undertaking.

Two of our advisers are going to be running 23 miles from Telford Stadium to Shrewsbury Town and back – while others will compete in the Shrewsbury 10km with a goal of setting a new personal best.

Long Mynd Hike

Spring is in full flow and what better way to enjoy it than a hike over the Long Mynd. This is something we’d love to get as many people involved in as possible so if you would like to join us then stay tuned for further details.

Coast to Coast

The coast to coast challenge is going to be one of our more demanding events in 2019. The route will take us 180 miles from Whitehaven to Newcastle. As well as all the other challenges we have been doing this year, the Pensionlite team have also been training hard out on the roads and in the gym to prepare themselves for this monumental ride.
